Text 19 Jul Name That Recipe!

So, this upcoming month we have Spanish Scrambled Eggs served with a 2008 Merlot!  I believe we’re going to be doing that this weekend.   Until then, I wanted to test a new feature called Name That Recipe!   See, I finally got my lovely wife to write down one of the awesome recipes that she makes when we’re going about our non-Tumblr-related cooking.  However, she doesn’t have names for any of them!   Take a look at the recipe below (I forgot to take a picture this time but if we do this again I’ll remember) and let me know what you think it should be called!

Name That Recipe!

Ingredients

½ cup soy sauce

½ cup Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp minced garlic

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 lbs flank or skirt steak of your choice

Directions

Make sure steaks are fully defrosted if frozen.

Combine all ingredients (except steak) in a large mixing bowl.  Whisk together briskly for a few minutes until brown sugar and honey dissolve and everything else is well-blended.

Poke steaks on each side 3-4 times with a large fork (to allow marinade to infuse).   Place the steaks in a large Ziploc bag (or container of your choice).

Pour the marinade over the steaks and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.  Turn steaks over and make sure marinade is entirely coating everything.  Marinate in refrigerator for at least another hour (can go as high as 24 hours).

Heat up a large skillet or grill pan and cook steaks on each side to desired doneness.   Serve with side of your choice and enjoy!
